Kinga Malec (born in 1988, Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish dancer of Indian dances as well as artistic director of IPCC (Indo-Polish Cultural Committee). She comes from a music and art lover family. Her older sister Magdalena Malec is an award winning performer of Renaissance and Baroque music specialized on harpsichord and organ. Her younger brother Piotr Anand Malec is a tabla player. From an early age she was fascinated by Indian dances and culture. She developed her dance abilities among other teachers by Mrs Montse Gras by training figure-skating and classical western ballet dance. One of her first successes include the first prize at the International Free Skating Competition in Spain in 1998. Along with ice skating, since the age of six she has been performing also traditional Polish folk and national dances with the ensemble Varsovia. During twelve years of her membership in Varsovia she has toured in Poland, France, Macedonia, Russia, Croatia and Italy.

She started dancing indian dances in 2008 under polish dancer Magdalena Niernsee (graduated from Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, India), then continued training under the best indian gurus in India: Pandit Arjun Mishra in Lucknow, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Mamta Maharaj and Saswati Sen in New Delhi and currently continuing under Smt. Nirupama Rajendra in Bangalore. She gives numerous performances in Poland and abroad (Italy, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Israel, Turkey, India, Nigeria, Singapore, Bali, Colombia, Brasil, Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Suriname, Guyana, and USA) as a solo dancer, as well as a member of the Mohini Dance Group. She has appeared at various cultural events and festivals of the Indian culture including Divali, Holi, The Independence Day of India, Indo-Polish Friendship Day, 8th Warsaw Cross Culture Festival, Court Dance Festival Cracovia Danza in year 2008 and 2015, Festival of Inner Peace 2015, 2016, 2017 in New York, Washington D.C., Dallas, Chicago, Indianapolis, San Francisco, San Jose, Tampa, Cincinnati and Detroit. She has danced in concerts with live music with artists like Dr. Maria Pomianowska and her Ensemble Polonais, Sandesh Popatkar, Avaneendra Sheolikar, Miguel Czachowski and his flamenco-indian ensemble Indialucia. With her Guru Nirupama Rajendra she had a privilege to perform at International platforms like Samarpana – The Asian Festival of Classical Dance in Singapore in 2014 and during many various festivals in India. She is regularly being invited to perform at various programs organised by Indian Embassy, IPCC and programs at the Polish TV (“Dancing with the Stars 2017”) and radio. She also took part as a dancer in Shandaar bollywood movie (starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt) partialy shot in Poland. She has won the European Next Bollywood Dance Star Contest 2015 in Frankfurt Germany, judged by legendary choreographer Saroj Khan. In addition to her performances, Kinga Malec is very active as a dance instructor, teaching at several dance schools in Warsaw as well as at numerous workshops in the country and abroad. She graduated from University of Music in Warsaw, Poland (master degree in Choreography and Dance Theory).
